About Our Mobile RV Service
What is mobile RV service?
Mobile RV service means we come to you — your driveway, campsite, storage lot, or any location your RV is parked. You don't need to tow or haul your RV to a shop. We bring the tools, expertise, and parts to get you back on the road.
Where do you provide service?
We are based in Grafton, Wisconsin and serve Ozaukee County and surrounding areas of southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Washington counties. See our full Service Area page.
Do you work on all types of RVs?
Yes. We work on travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A/B/C motorhomes, toy haulers, and pop-up campers. If you're not sure whether we can help, just email us — we'll let you know.
Scheduling & Appointments
How do I schedule a service visit?
We don't use instant online booking. Every appointment starts with a conversation. Submit a service request and we'll reach out to confirm details, understand your situation, and schedule a time that works.
How quickly can you come out?
Availability varies by time of year. We offer same-day and emergency service when available, though those visits are billed at our emergency rate. For planned repairs, we typically schedule within a few days to a week.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, we work Monday through Saturday, 8am–6pm. After-hours service is available but billed at a higher rate.
Pricing & Fees
How much does a service visit cost?
Our standard rate is $200/hour with a 1-hour minimum. Emergency and after-hours service is $300/hour. A $165 flat diagnostic fee is charged if we need to diagnose the issue — this fee is credited toward labor if you proceed with the repair. See our full Pricing page for complete details.
Is there a travel fee?
Yes. Travel within 25 miles of Grafton, WI is a flat $100. Beyond 25 miles, we charge $2.50 per mile one-way from our Grafton base.
Do I get an estimate before work begins?
Yes. Every job receives a written estimate before work begins. You approve the work before we start. The final invoice is based on actual hours worked plus parts and travel.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and digital payments. Payment is due upon completion of service.
Parts & Repairs
Do you supply parts?
Yes, we source and supply all parts needed for your repair. Parts are charged at standard retail pricing. We stand behind every component we install with our workmanship warranty.
Can I supply my own parts?
You may supply your own parts, but a $35 parts verification fee applies so we can inspect compatibility and condition before installation. Note: we cannot warranty labor performed with customer-supplied parts.
What types of repairs do you do?
We handle a wide range of repairs including: electrical systems, plumbing and water systems, appliance service, roof seals, slide-outs, leveling systems, and routine maintenance. For a full list, see our Mobile RV Service page.
Still Have Questions?
We're happy to help. Email us at service@palsbydesign.co or submit a service request and we'll get back to you promptly.
RV Products & Shop
Do you sell RV parts and accessories?
Yes! Our online shop at palsbydesign.co carries tech-approved RV parts, accessories, and gear that we personally recommend and use in the field. Every product in our shop is something we'd put on our own rig.
Why should I buy parts from you instead of Amazon?
Our shop carries field-tested gear selected by an actual RV technician — not an algorithm. You get our recommendation, not just a listing. Plus, when you buy from us, you're supporting a Wisconsin-based small business.
Can you install parts I order from your shop?
Absolutely. Order the part, schedule a service visit, and we'll handle the install. Just mention what you ordered when you submit your service request.
Diagnosing the Problem
I don't know what's wrong with my RV — can you still help?
Yes — this is one of the most common calls we get. Describe what's happening (strange noise, system not working, warning light, etc.) and we'll figure it out. We offer a flat $165 diagnostic fee that gets credited toward your repair if you proceed with us.
Do I need to know my RV's make and model?
It helps, but it's not required. Check the sticker on your door frame or your title/registration. If you can't find it, that's fine — just describe the issue and we'll work with what we have.
Seasonal & Wisconsin-Specific Questions
Do you do winterization?
Yes — this is one of our most popular seasonal services. We handle full winterization including water system blow-out, antifreeze treatment, battery care, and a general pre-storage inspection. Book early in fall — slots fill fast.
Do you do spring de-winterization?
Yes. We'll flush your water system, check all seals, test appliances, and make sure everything is road-ready after a Wisconsin winter. Highly recommended before your first trip of the season.
What's the best time of year to schedule preventive maintenance?
Spring (before camping season) and fall (before storage) are the two most valuable service windows. We recommend scheduling both. Contact us in March and September to lock in your slot before the rush.
